Brigit M. Hollis, DVM
Dr. Hollis joined Hancock Veterinary Clinic as an Associate in 1997. Her love of animals began as a child growing up on a farm north of Galesburg, IL. She spent many hours in the barn with her horses, cows, cats, and dogs. Her grandpa always let her tag along for chores and the local veterinarians never minded her peering over their shoulders. After high school she pursued a degree in Animal Science from the University of Illinois College of Agriculture. This led to her degree in Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. While in Champaign, IL, she met her husband, Bill. Bill is also a veterinarian practicing swine medicine and management at Carthage Veterinary Service. Drs. Bill and Brigit have two children, Bailey and Ben. The kids keep free time away from work full of many activities including piano, dance, swimming, wrestling, basketball, and on and on. Dr. Brigit's other hobbies include reading and gardening.
